Palm Beach

On arrival, I was immediately enamored by the sand … coarse and the most beautiful shades of pink. I took a walk down the beach and around a sand bar peninsula shown in the background of my painting and happened upon this picturesque shady beach with one lone coconut-less palm reaching out to the beautiful turquoise sea. It was so inspiring that I paddled all the way back to the boat to get my camera so that I could remember the beauty and paint it.

Green Turtle from a photo taken at Farmers Cay  in the Exumas last year. He had two big remora on his underside but I eliminated those.
